Tara's first manuscript was sent in 1991, but it was in 2003 that the first volume of the adventures of the young Spellbinder was finally published. Following the success of this first volume, Sophie has written 21 other novels, for adults and children. She was honored by the Order of Arts and Letters(2014) and the Legion of Honor (2016).

Tara Duncan Adventure

Sophie's best-selling series, popular with French and international readers, was first adapted into a cartoon in 2010. An online video game was also created in 2011. The first episodes of the new animated series adaptation of the saga were released in 2021, a project piloted by Sophie herself and which marks the first step in Tara's return to the screens.
